Notice for retirees who receive their healthcare benefits and/or pension from Idearc/SuperMedia:

Our office has received several calls and emails from retirees that have had problems with their 2011 benefit packages. Please review your package very carefully and if you have any questions or problems please contact SuperMedia Benefit Center at 1-888-385-3028 if you need more information.

Please also review your Beneficiary Designations section to confirm the accuracy of the beneficiaries listed and their information.

SuperMedia retirees with Supplemental Retiree Life Insurance must call to reinstate their coverage. Supplemental life coverage will not automatically rollover unless a call is made to the Benefits Center. There is no indication that this must be done in the material sent in the benefit package. Supplemental life insurance will be covered by the same company, Minnesota Life Insurance Co., as the basic insurance. Unfortunately, the new carrier information states that "Your current group life insurance coverage will continue undisturbed - no action is necessary." However, this statement does not apply to retirees with supplemental coverage.

Please visit the "ldearc/SuperMedia News" page on our website frequently for updated information just for Idearc/SuperMedia retirees and be sure to forward this email to your former colleagues to let them know about this resource as well.
